Just experimenting with a new blog , interim report about the lads walking Trip last week.
Thursday to be exact.
I have been told they took the train from Leeds to Greenfield, from there they walked along the canal bank heading for the village of Diggle, a distance of some 2 - 3 miles their goal was to reach the Standedge Tunnel. An Engineering project constructed by Robert Telford many years ago.
